A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

The mission of The Brooklyn Museum of Art is, “to create inspiring encounters with art that expand the ways we see ourselves, the world and its possibilities.” I couldn’t have said it better, the museum truly is an experience that teleports you from Brooklyn to Vienna or some abstract world. Growing up in Brooklyn it was a big deal to see the museum, I’ve explored each exhibit and event like a wide-eyed school girl. 

Now, the museum has become somewhat of a personal archive. I am able to connect and relive my travels around the world and really reflect on the art and culture I experienced in the past. There’s nothing more chic and fun like a night at the museum. I like to express my mood and feelings through my clothes. And for the night I am a moving Basquiat, or Dega.
